Wizard Friday

I was inspired this morning from the the very Talented Justin Rodrigues  http://jtownsketchhouse.blogspot.com/  A very talented artist that I've been following for quite some time now.  He had been posting some cool wizard concepts of late so thought I would try my hand on a Wizard as well. Mine are  not as cool as his but I had fun sketching some up. Can't believe the weekend is here again. Time is flying. Anyways  Have a great Weekend!

The Dash

Was watching the Incredibles Blu Ray last night and sketched up my take on Dash. Such a fun Movie.

Sketched these out while I was helming the BBQ pit on the 4th of July. No one got sick so my job was well done on the cooked food front. HA!

Happy 4th Of July!

Thought I'd put a post up before the 4th since I'll be a busy being Mr. BBQ man tomorrow. So here's hoping my bbq skillz are up for the challenge for the family.  Posting a few character sketches of my take on a flying Ace. Have no clue why I was sketching this but it was fun to try out. Sunday Morning Sketchies

Laughter is the Best Medicine

So one of my favorite shows is Ghost Adventures on the travel channel. So there is one of the members of the ghost group named Aaron who always makes me laugh. So I seen him laugh on this one episode and thought I sketch him out. I wasn't trying for an exact likeness of him just wanted to exaggerate his laughter on two of the sketches.   Just wanted to stay loose and hopefully get some energy off of his smile and laugh.

Okay since I did a sketch that pretty much looked like Ariel last week...might has well do one of the baddie but instead of Ursula let's pretend she had a sister that was not with Octopus legs. I didn't know what to do for today so just went with it. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Was sketching this out but my intentions were not to draw a Ariel or little mermaid figure...but in the end I made it kinda like her minus the fin of a mermaid. So I don't know if she is a mermaid in this sketch or a snake tail or Sea Horse tail or what. Just did whatever good or bad. lol. Okay I'll stop mumbling to myself now. Have a great weekend everyone.

One of my favorite games even though I really sucked at it but I would always love to see the animation. In the arcades it was a quarter muncher so really glad it eventually made it's way to PS3.

March Is Sketchbook Month Day 2

Was thinking about little Rascals today and which one of them to sketch. One of my fondest memories of watching reruns of Old episodes was the one with Chubs and Mrs. Crabtree. Man looking at these episodes really shows how times have changed. But anyways found a cool image of Chubs thought it would be cool to draw him for my  day 2 sketch in my style. Might keep going with the Lil Rascals theme this week.

March is Sketchbook Month! Day 1

 Day 1Happy March everyone! Well a talented artist and cartoonist Cedric Hohnstadt http://cedrichohnstadt.wordpress.com/ started up this great idea to do a sketchbook for the month of March and to try and post up a sketch or sketches for each day of this month. So going to try my hand and join in on the fun. I'm not going to worry about if my drawing looks good or not just going to be spontaneous and draw what comes to mind. It's our sketchbooks and this is where all the fun stuff happens. So since over the weekend I was watching Spartacus Gods of the Arena the first thing that popped to mind is why not sketch out some Gladiators.

If anyone wants to join in on the fun have a go at it and let's see if we can complete the whole month with a page of sketches for each day.

All of a sudden

Out of the blue I had the sudden desire to doodle some baby/babies. Hmmmm I wonder why? I'll get back to you on that in about 6 more months. The answer should come to me around that time. heh.

Saw this guy speed walking down the street this morning while waiting at a stop light and figured I need to sketch this guy down in my book.
