Was thinking with all the rain and flooding we have going on here in So. Cal that it would be fun to draw a kid playing pirates sailing the seven seas with his trusty 1st mate. AVARS!!

Fun with Rain

Man it's been raining over here in So. Cal for most of the week. Which is incredible since it hardly rains here. But since it's raining that's a great reason to has some fun. Drew these up remembering the fun I had going outside in the rain when I was growing up and how great it was to get soaked and of course later on get the flu for having a blast getting soaked. Ahhh good times...good times.

Pidge

I'm doing a project that's on the great 80's show Voltron Defender of the Universe. So just to get familiar with some of the characters I've been doing some sketches. Thought I'd try to see how I would draw out the youngest character of the show Pidge! I know his hair is a little poofy but hey everyone has a bad hair day even if they are a cartoon character. lol

Today I just drew out the first thing that came to mind this morning and it ended up being creatures or weird looking things. heh

Happy Belated New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!! I'm 5 days a little late saying it but been out of town. I hope everyone had a Fantastic and safe Holidays and New Year. Man I'm really behind now being away and seeing all the awesome posts that everyone has been putting up on their blogs. I really need to catch up. Well to start the new year I'm posting some random Drawings from my sketchbook. Mostly observational sketches with a few heads that I made up. So I scanned some images and pasted them on one sheet to make it easier. Again Happy New Year I look forward to posting a lot this year and growing as a artist. WHoo!!!

When Autumn Leafs Attack!!

Last week I had seen this Gardner using his blower to clean up the leaves on a house. So I thought what if a Gardner actually seen the leafs as a giant Leaf monster and had to use his blower to destroy it and save the day!! Hey I know to make the clean up even faster and pass the time better I would be thinking that. lol

Been a little under the weather so not really posting anything speacial other then a couple of Digi sketches. I was going to add color to them but not well enough so I left them black and white. Oh well. Maybe next time I'll get back to them and add a bit more.

Gobble Gobble???

Just wanted to wish everyone this week a Happy Thanksgiving. Everyone be safe this weekend and enjoy! Thought I'd put up some random Turkey's for the occasion. Honestly I think turkeys are one ugly bird but doggone they taste great! heh.

Morning at the Car Wash

I sketched the 1st page out while waiting at the Car Wash. Thought one of the guys drying the cars looked fun to draw. I might have exaggerated his porportions a bit but it's all in fun. The 2nd drawing I did when I got home. Don't know who I initially trying to draw so I just added a few things to kinda make him look like DC comics Red Tornado. I know his look is not exact but I tried to remember the best as I could costume wise.
